Brose stun Olympiacos in Euroleague
Olympiacos suffered a shock loss to Brose Baskets Bamberg in Euroleague's Top 16, as veteran Felipe Reyes starred for Real Madrid.
Brose Baskets sprung a major surprise in the Euroleague on Friday by inflicting a first Top 16 defeat this season on Olympiacos.
A week on from winning in the Top 16 for the first time in their history, ending a 21-game losing streak, the German side recorded a shock 77-72 win in Greece.
Darius Miller led the way with 23 points for Brose, who opened up a 24-point lead in the third quarter before Olympiacos came on strong to set up a tense finale.
Olympiacos' defeat means Fenerbahce Ulker are the only unbeaten team in the Top 16 after three rounds.
Elsewhere in Group F on Friday, Felipe Reyes enjoyed a landmark night as Real Madrid edged out Zalgiris 92-86, who were under the leadership of Sarunas Jasikevicius for the first time.
Reyes' 24-point haul represented a career-best tally, in his 243rd Euroleague appearance.
Alexey Shved also contributed 24 points as Khimki triumphed 76-68 over Laboral Kutxa.
Anadolu Efes beat winless neighbours Darussafaka 84-71 in Group E.
