Twenty-year-old Alex Toth has signed a long-term contract with Bournemouth after completing his switch from Ferencvaros.
Bournemouth have announced the signing of youngster Alex Toth from Ferencvaros.
The 20-year-old has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with the Cherries after a reported £10.4m move from Ferencvaros, with a possibility of a further £2.6m in add-ons and 10% of any future sales going to the Hungarian club.
The midfielder has played 14 league matches for Robbie Keane’s side this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist while completing 86.1% of his passes.
Toth has also won 76.9% of his tackles in the Hungarian top-flight this term, while also winning 47.9% of his duels.
He has featured in five of their Europa League matches in 2025-26, with Ferencvaros currently sixth in the league phase, and he won six caps for Hungary during their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.
“It feels amazing to be a part of this club and I am excited to achieve good things,” Toth told the Bournemouth website.
“When I knew AFC Bournemouth were first interested in me, I was excited and happy because this is a good club in the Premier League, the best league in the world and the strongest league.
“The whole club, the whole structure is great. When I was speaking to the directors, it was quite obvious for me because they were such good guys. I am really looking forward to achieving great things and making good results with this team.”
Toth could make his debut for Andoni Iraola’s side when they take on Liverpool at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
