Mbappe - Henry can get Monaco out of trouble
Kylian Mbappe has revealed that former side Monaco can get out of trouble with boss Thierry Henry
Kylian Mbappe has revealed that he is relishing the chance to take on Manchester United in the Champions League. The 20-year-old striker has been in fine form in the league this season, score 14 goals in 13 Ligue 1 appearances so far, Mbappe spoke at a press conference during the Parisians annual winter tour to Qatar.
“Manchester United are a top side and squad, we will give our best to qualify to the next round.”
United are on a fine run of form since parting with boss Jose Mourinho and have won all six games under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær and are set to face PSG in the round of sixteen in the Champions League on the 12th of February.

Mbappe also had his say on former side Monaco adding that they are more than to beat the drop from Ligue 1.
The former Ligue 1 champions are currently mired in a relegation dogfight in nineteenth place in the standings and are in real danger of dropping into Ligue 2. Having hired Thierry Henry in October, replacing Leonardo Jardim the 20-year-old, stressed that the former France international can turn things around in the principality.
“Monaco is a strong side but they have had eighteen players out through injury during the season.”
Henry has been given plenty of money in January and has moved to sign former Arsenal team-mate Cesc Fabregas and Brazilian international defender Naldo from Schalke. For now, World Cup Winner Mbappe believes that his former side has hired the right man to get them out of trouble.
“If PSG had the same amount of players out injured we would also struggle, but with Monaco having Henry I hope they can improve and move away from the relegation zone.”
PSG will continue their tour of Qatar, which will include a training session at the Khalifa International Stadium.
