Football the game of world Test
Football world
Football, also known as soccer, is a sport played by two teams of 11 players each. The objective of the game is to score more goals than the opposing team. Players use any part of their body except their hands and arms to move the ball around the field and into the opposing team’s goal. The goalkeeper is the only player who can use their hands and arms, but only within the penalty area surrounding the goal. Football is the world’s most popular sport in terms of both participants and spectators1. The sport originated in Britain in the 19th century and has since spread to become a global phenomenon. The Fédération International de Football Association (FIFA) is the governing body of football and organizes the quadrennial World Cup, which is the premier tournament in football.
