Goncalo Ramos' last-gasp winner saw Paris Saint-Germain claim a dramatic 1-0 home victory over Nice.

The substitute struck in the 94th minute to snatch all three points at Parc des Princes, where Luis Enrique's side had endured a frustrating day up to that point.

With second-place Monaco hosting Paris FC later on Saturday, PSG ensured they would hold onto top spot come the conclusion of the weekend regardless of what happens in the other matches.

Nice, who had won their last two league games at Parc des Princes, had the best chance of the first half, with Khvica Kvaratskhelia having to clear off the line to deny Juma Bah in the 33rd minute.

PSG pushed for the opener after the break. Vitinha's fierce long-range strike was clawed away by Yehvann Diouf, while Ramos, who was brought on with 18 minutes remaining, fired narrowly wide on the turn.

It appeared PSG were set to drop more points having drawn three of their previous four games in Ligue 1.

However, Ramos was the hero right at the death, nodding home from close range after Kvaratskhelia helped Lee Kang-in's corner directly into his path.

It comes after the European champions scored their latest winning goal in Ligue 1, timed at 93 minutes and 59 seconds, since Lionel Messi's decider against Lille in February 2023, which was scored after 94 minutes and 26 seconds.

Ramos settled the contest with his 18th goal for PSG in all competitions after coming off the bench. Since his arrival in 2023-24, no player in the big five European leagues has netted more such goals (Cristhian Stuani of Girona also has 18 goals as a substitute).

Nice had won their previous three league games, and came desperately close to claiming a creditable point.

However, they have now failed to register a clean sheet in any of their last 18 away games in all competitions, while their tally of nine defeats in the opening 16 matches of this season in all competitions is their worst record since 2006-07, when they also had nine defeats at this stage.
